Laura has devoted her life to hope and healing and considers it an immense and sacred honor to walk alongside fellow humans in their healing journey.
Laura is skilled at using a wide variety of therapeutic approaches, including EMDR, AEDP, attachment work, IFS-informed and parts work, emotion-focused therapy, somatic and body-based therapies, mindfulness, inner child work and relational psychotherapy. However, she tailors her approach based on the specific goals and strengths of the client, so that each person experiences therapy that is a good fit for them. All the therapy she does is evidence-based, polyvagal informed, and is designed to be empowering, with a focus on de-pathologizing the person.
As a trauma therapist, Laura’s focus is on you as a whole person with the goal of creating a relationship built on safety, trust, and hope. Her therapeutic approach will help you to understand and have more flexibility in your nervous system, heal from past wounds, diminish pain and suffering, and move towards the things you want in life. She believes that healing is possible and will empower you to understand how you have everything inside of you that you need to move towards greater health and wholeness.
