We believe that healing happens through the process of reconnecting to ourselves, embracing our journey and understanding how it led to the behaviors and beliefs that brought us to a place in life of stress, overwhelm and immobility.

Through our comprehensive therapeutic intensive retreat, The Healing Within program will help you understand the effects of trauma on your life, create meaning out of your life journey and acquire education and tools to move towards the life you want to live. In addition to the practice of reconnecting with others in our healing retreat atmosphere, we create the environment where not only healing happens, but where you can transform into the version of yourself that you both want and need in this part of your journey.

The greatest gift you can give yourself and those in relationship with you, is learning how to regulate your nervous system. Everything you need to heal, connect, grow and thrive is already wired within you.

Hi there, I’m Tonya L. Bassett, LCSW, CADC, CTT! I’m honored to work with individuals who are ready to heal from trauma and transform their lives. For over two decades, I’ve dedicated myself to guiding people toward healing and growth, with 2025 marking my 13th year leading trauma healing intensives. These intensives are the heart of my work—they’re a deeply transformative experience designed to provide the equivalent of a year of therapy in just one focused week.
As the founder of the Midwest’s first trauma intensive, Healing Within – A Trauma Healing Program, I developed a unique approach that combines experiential therapies and holistic practices, all set in the calming embrace of nature. In order to move towards healing, it is important to process the pain of our past. I treat the root while helping you manage your symptoms. I support your journey with immersive care and healing hospitality to help you reclaim your well-being.
Throughout my career, I’ve served in various roles that shape the way I support clients today. From working as a child welfare specialist and addiction therapist to developing treatment programs and educating professionals on trauma-informed care, I’ve seen the profound impact of addressing the roots of pain with compassion, body-based and relationship/attachment based practices.
When I’m not facilitating trauma intensives or working in my group practice, I enjoy spending time with my family, (including 6 amazing grandchildren), laughing, walking, baking and yoga.
If this resonates with you, I’d love to join you on your healing journey.

Hi there! My name is Ashley Fullriede and I'm a Licensed Professional Counselor, and glad you made it here. I know and want to honor the difficulty of making this first step and that's why it's so important to find a space that is safe and meets us where we are at.
I feel passionately about creating a non-judgmental, safe, and supportive space where my clients feel empowered in their therapy journey. At points in our lives when we are feeling stuck, alone, and hurt we need a space or a relationship that meets us where we are at without feeling shame. Through therapy, we can have someone come on this journey towards healing.
I specialize in working with complex trauma, PTSD, attachment trauma, and couples counseling. I utilize a variety of therapeutic approaches, including AEDP, EMDR, Somatic therapies, and parts work. I also have advanced training and experience working with members of the first responder community and enjoy working with that population. By working through these lenses, I support clients in healing from past traumas, building more fulfilling relationships, enhancing emotional regulation, increasing their self-awareness, and creating change. Outside of therapy, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, reading, and spending lots of time with my dog.
Healing is possible and I would be honored to walk alongside you on your journey.

Reaching out for support is a powerful step toward healing. You don’t have to do this alone!
I’m a trauma-informed marriage and family therapist with a Master’s in Counseling Psychology, specializing in Marriage and Family Therapy, Clinical Counseling, and
Depth Psychology. I work with individuals, couples, and families both in person at Breathe Counseling in downtown Bloomington, IL, and clients across the state of Illinois
via secure telehealth. My clinical approach is relational and rooted in depth psychological approaches informed by attachment, somatic, polyvagal, mindfulness, and psychodynamic theories. While I support a broad range of clientele, I specialize in providing grief support, neurodivergent-affirming care, support for overwhelmed parents, and Veteran care. Every treatment plan integrates a variety of evidence-based practices tailored to your unique needs and nervous system. I offer a warm and collaborative approach to therapy that helps you reconnect with yourself and your inner strength while working to restore your felt sense of safety and achieve your therapy goals.
As a queer-affirming, social justice-oriented therapist with a background in community mental health, I approach clinical work with cultural humility, an awareness of the impact systemic dynamics have on every one of us, and a commitment to creating an affirming space for all identities and lived experiences. I also hold awareness that therapy itself does not exist outside of power and privilege — and I aim to remain mindful of how these dynamics may show up in the clinical space.
Whether you’re navigating the aftermath of trauma, feeling consumed by worry, sadness, or overwhelm, coping with grief and loss or major life changes, struggling in relationships or parenting, or simply trying to make sense of emotions that feel too big or too unclear to name — you’ve come to the right place to get the support you’re
looking for. If you’re ready to begin, or even just curious about what this journey could look like, please reach out; I’d be honored to support you.

Hello, I am Becca Marquart, LPC. I am so grateful you are here. None of us were made to walk alone. I aim to provide a place where you can feel safe, accepted, and seen, where the aloneness can finally subside.
I especially enjoy working with adults in mid to late life who are trying to make sense of confusing or overwhelming nervous system responses including anxiety and depression. Perhaps this confusion and overwhelm began in childhood in reaction to traumatic circumstances or maybe it has been in response to the constant onslaught on loss and pain in adulthood. Regardless of how they arrive, I work with my clients to learn and regulate their nervous systems so that they can feel in control of their bodies again.
I integrate several trauma-informed approaches into the therapy process including EMDR, parts work, and polyvagal, all of which help the body get unstuck and able to move forward again. I draw from neuroscience to normalize your nervous system’s reactions to the challenges you’ve encountered.
My own healing journey drew me to this helping role later in life and continues to shape and inform my work with clients. I want to share the hope that healing is possible. My goal is to help clients discover and become their truest selves, finding peace and rest despite the parts of their story they cannot control and fostering deeper relationships.
